The Blackrock Leprechaun Chase is back for St Patricks Day 2026!
Get ready for the Blackrock Leprechaun Chase and Festival 2026, a beloved St Patrick’s Day tradition! This year we are making it a two-day event!
Hosted by the Blackrock Business Association, this year’s event promises even more excitement and entertainment for families and friends alike. And we have made more tickets available this year – we have increased the numbers participating from 600 to 750!
Join us at the bandstand in Blackrock Park from 10:00 on St Patrick’s Day for a lively warm-up led by the hilarious Mr Podzo, and including live music from the Stedfast Brass Band.
At noon, kids don your most festive attire and participate in the Leprechaun Chase as you race around the park in search of the elusive leprechaun.
After the Chase, the festivities continue in Blackrock Village with a variety of activities for the whole community to enjoy, including Storytelling sessions, Magic, Live music, Face painting, Balloon Shaping and much much more!
Food will be available in the various eateries. This event is designed to give families with young children a local alternative to the Dublin City Centre St. Patrick’s Day Parade, while also supporting local businesses and celebrating all that Blackrock Village has to offer.
