The Blackrock Business Association is running a much enhanced St Patrick’s Day Festival this year and we are extending the fun and games into 2 days. We are also involving both Shopping Centres so as to include and embrace the whole Village.
There are many moving parts that go into setting up a festival like this, so we are highlighting some of the key players in this Newsletter edition.

Fancy a spectacular Magic Show, funky face painting, cool balloon shaping – and so much more family fun for St Patrick’s Day? Blackrock Village Centre is excited to say that it has teamed up with the ‘Blackrock Leprechaun Chase’ festival and is bringing the ever-popular magical Rachel and her merry band of face-painters and balloon shapers to the centre’s eye-catching designed malls. Plenty of giveaways and surprises too so make sure you and the kids don’t miss out on all the fun.

Face painting and balloon shaping in both venues. Kids come along and have your face painted or see some amazing balloon shaping!
Food for the hungry kids!

Blackrock Athletics Club has been proudly supporting and helping to organise the exciting, family-friendly Leprechaun Chase since 2016. They’re passionate about bringing fitness and fun to the local community, and this fantastic event is a great way to contribute to that. It’s all about giving the kids and families of Blackrock a lively, memorable morning to enjoy together! The Blackrock Business Association and indeed the whole Blackrock community is deeply indebted to BAC for planning and supervising the races over the past 10 years. Bear Market - Free Coffee Morning
BUMBLEance is the Children’s Ambulance Service of Ireland.
BUMBLEance provide safe and comfortable transportation for Ireland’s youngest patients as they travel between their homes and hospitals, hospices, treatment centres and respite centres nationwide.
They are hosting a COFFEE MORNING on Wed 12 March 2025 in the Main Street, Blackrock shop with free coffee from 12-3pm and free hot chocolate all day for kids. 100% of donation will got to BUMBLEance.
